Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan’s friendship goes back a long way. They are childhood friends and have also made their film debut together in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year. Now Alia and Varun are back with KJo’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and the Highway actor has dedicated the film’s song Samjhawan to his special friend Varun.
Though we have already heard Ms Bhatt’s melodious voice in Imtiaz Ali’s Highway, mentor Karan this time has pushed the envelope even further and made Alia sing the unplugged version of Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal’s Samjhawan.
The makers have planned a grand launch of Alia’s unplugged version of the song. HSKD’s lead actor Varun Dhawan will host the event and sources confirm that his on screen lady love Alia will dedicate this romantic number to his co star Varun.
